Hey, Rippling. 👋
I’m Kaylee – a Chicago-based product designer and here’s a one pager just for you.
I combine user empathy with technical fluency to design for clarity, confidence, and scale.
Here is why I think I’d be a good fit for Rippling:
I have hands-on experience in HR systems. I previously worked at ChartHop, where I built their design system from the ground up and partnered with the Director of Product to shape its transition into an HRIS.
During my time there, I worked on everything from evolving their information architecture to complex features like profiles and forms.
Currently I work at GoodParty.org, an AI-forward not-for-profit political reform startup where I lead research with a standing panel of elected officials, translating their insights into prototypes and ultimately into functional designs.

Here is how I provide value:
I help teams ship better products, faster.
I turn ambiguity into action.
Whether helping defining a new product direction or facilitating early discovery, I translate scattered input into actionable focus that aligns stakeholders and accelerates delivery.I drive impact through systems.
Systems design is my core strength: I design with reusability in mind — enabling faster iteration and long-term scalability.I connect user insights to business value.
I run ongoing research panels to validate early, and ship solutions that improve adoption, reduce friction, and increase trust.I contribute across the entire product lifecycle.
I handle everything from creating product specs and technical documentation to designing user experiences and building production-ready components, including submitting pull requests directly to our component library.
