Hey, Quantum Metric. 👋
I’m Kaylee – a Chicago-based product designer.
I combine user empathy with technical fluency to design for clarity, confidence, and scale.
Here is why I think I’d be a good fit for Quantum Metric:
I have ten years of experience designing and scaling enterprise products and design systems that make complex, data-heavy workflows usable, measurable, and scalable. My work sits at the intersection of systems thinking, product strategy, and user empathy—transforming organizational complexity into clarity.
Data is central to how I design. I use qualitative and quantitative signals to guide decisions, validate assumptions, and scale solutions—and I’m always looking for deeper visibility. That’s why Quantum Metric resonates with me. You’re helping teams see and respond to what their users need in real time—the same kind of visibility I strive to create through design.
Here is an overview of my recent work history:
In 2023, I led a fundamental redesign of ChartHop’s data architecture as it evolved into a full HRIS. By analyzing how data was fragmented across the platform, I proposed a flexible field and block model that preserved semantic meaning while enabling customization. This not only cut customization requests by 50% but also laid the foundation for faster, more intelligent feature development across the platform.
Today, I lead design at GoodParty.org, where I’m building an AI-driven CRM that helps elected officials understand community priorities through representative polling and demographic analysis. I’ve designed and validated the product from the ground up—partnering with users, defining success metrics, and using rapid prototyping to test hypotheses and shape the MVP. We recently achieved a 40% activation rate by offering a free 500-text trial that let officials experience the value of gathering real, representative feedback before committing further.
The best way to understand how I design and think is through the work itself. Here’s a selection of documents and Figma files that illustrate my experience.
